Photographer's Note

Buddhist Monks can be seen everywhere and they are hard to miss in their brightly coloured maroon robes. Buddhism is followed with more fervor in Burma, right from the morning alms ceremony to not eating food after the only meal and monks seem to do all the right things...

They are also very much a part of the country's landscape, very photogenic in my eyes as they add a bit of exotic & colour of the place.

An early morning capture at Nyaungshwe small town on the shores of Inle Lake.
