Photographer's Note

It was a hot afternoon in Myanmar. I was riding a bike around Nyaungshwe, a little village at the north of Inle Lake. As I was riding through a very little village, a woman got out of her house and stopped my course. She wanted me to go in her house, and that was not optional!
I got in, she was making cheroots (the burmese cigars) for a living, her mother was there, her sister in law too... I sat on a bench, they offered me a green tea and a cigar, and we started talking. After a while I took pictures, I stayed something like two hours with them, and after that, they told me they were so happy that I stopped by...
It was a great moment, good memories.

This photo is the third of this serie about making cheroots.
