Photographer's Note
Among the ruined pagodas in Bagan there are alot of friendly vendors selling their artwork. After I bought a small painting she let me snap her photo. Claude, the on-camera contax flash was used here.

Good capture, her hapyness is everything on this picture! Besides, good colors and DOF is great with background unfocused to lead our atention to girl

Un très beau portait, la maîtrise du flash est parfaite. La profondeur de champs est intéressante. Bravo !

What a påleasure to see such a smiling face. A very nice picture Caleb. Great colours and cropping. I think that buying the painting was a fair price for such a beautiful smile.

Very photogenic face. The smile seems very natural and the teeths are just wonderful. The colours are perfect. Exellent shot.

Too center perhaps. If you put her on the and take more of the temples view, I guess this picture will be very powerful. Anyway, it is quite diffecult to communicate what we want to our "accidental" models so I guessed you did the best that you could do here.

Very nice picture Caleb. The light remainds me a lot about Bagan, such a wonderful place. Hope to go back there one day and stay longer.
Did you use a flash?

great smile :-)) I'm a bit surprised not to see some tanaka on her face.
The nice tones in the sky with the background line at the same height as her shoulders magnify very nicely her smile. Another choice could have been to decenter the subject and to increase just slightly the DOF: this would have given more context about Bagan.

Brilliant!!!!! Although is that dust from scanning on the image near the girls hair on the right hand side ?? Its distracting.
But well done centurion - goodwork

Warm colors and warming model!
Good exposure and use of fill-in-flash!
This pic works straight-on for me because of her smile, and since I've been to Bagan I don't need more background to bring me back to the "golden land"!
I guess this could be solved in all kind of ways, this way is pretty good...
