I had already posted a portrait of this little girl, attending a novice ordination ceremony... On this one the umbrella background, provides a different visual impact... She still seems to be sad.. or is it shy? or proud?... They never see foreigners there...

J'avais déjà publie un portrait de cette petite fille,prise lors d'une cérémonie d'ordination de jeunes novices, partant pour un séjour en monastère, selon la coutume locale... Cette fois son ombrelle donnait un impact visuel particulier... Mais elle avait toujours l'air aussi triste, ou bien est-ce de la timidité? de la fierté alors? Toujours est-il qu'il ne voient jamais d'étrangers dans le coin...

Bonjour Laurent,
Un portrait très réussi de cette petite fille à l'air tout a fait sérieux. Je pencherais plutôt pour la fierté qu'on la prenne en photo bien maquillée et habillée comme une princesse.
La lumière étant un peu dure, tu aurais je pense pu jouer un peu sur les niveaux pour éclaircir la partie gauche du visage qui reste un peu sombre ?

Hi Laurent. Great portrait. The umbrella does make a good frame and blocks any distracting BG. Good light and colours though perhaps a little flash would have added a small sparkle in the eyes. Nice work and thanks for sharing.

Ce qui me frappe sans ce très beau portrait, plus que l'impression de tristesse, c'est que ce visage semble montrer la jeune fille, la femme que de deviendra cette petite fille.
Est-ce le sérieux, le regard, le maquillage ????

bonjour laurent,

l'ombrelle fait un tres joli fond pour cette frimousse un peu triste, qui va certainement quitter ses parents pour une longue période, la lumière latterale est bien gérée et n'engendre aucune surexposition.

c'est un très beau portrait où l'ombrelle mauve donne un très joli et doux arrière-plan!La petite fille est adorable avec ses pommetes maquillées au tanaka,c'est toujours pour nous une source d'étonnement!Je ne trouve pas que la différence d'eclairage des 2 joues gêne vraiment,mais c'est vrai que ça aurait pû être encore plus beau si tu avais éclairci le côté gauche!Quoiqu'il en soit,la photo est superbe!

Presque un regard d'adulte qui émane de ce portrait qui laisse songeur!
Quelles pensées traversent cette petite tête alors que tu la photographies?
J'aime beaucoup cette lumière latérale qui enrichit les couleurs et notamment ce fond mauve offert par cette ombrelle.

Elle m'a l'air pensive cette petite dont le thanaka et rouge à lèvres font bien ressortir ses jolis traits. Son ombrelle fait une jolie toile de fond et les couleurs sont superbes.

Salut Laurent,

Cette petite fillette au visage aussi rond que son parapluie constitue un excellent modèle... Elle me fait penser aux vieilles illustrations que l'on retrouve sur les boîtes de thé chinois. Sinon, c'est une petite Betty Boop avec la même coupe de cheveux.

La lumière éclaire bien son visage, en le divisant parfaitement en deux zones distinctes. La composition est nickel.
