Photographer's Note
Mount Popa is a volcano 1518 metres above sea level, and located in central Burma about 50 km southeast of Bagan in the Pegu Range. Atop Mount Popa is the Popa Taungkalat monastery. The Popa Taungkalat (Taung Kalat) Shrine is home to 37 Mahagiri Nats, or spirits.
