Photographer's Note

Thought I'd give Rajasthan a bit of a break for now, here's something deep from the archives & photo diary:

Late afternoon is the best times of the day with a pleasant temperature when rays of sunlight streaming through offering perhaps the best opportunity to capture U Bein wooden bridge, and the strolling monks.

The longest teak foot bridge in the world that has stood the test of time for over two centuries and the best use made to date of a disused royal palace,,,,, at least in my view!

Setting: 70mm, 1/200 sec, F16, ISO Raw 200, 1746 hrs, and polarised
