Photographer's Note

There is a lot of.... nothing in Mongolia. Or better say a lot of nothingness. And that is what is great about the country. Of course it is not the same every where, there is a large variety of landscapes.

But when you are at the border between the grasslands and the beggining of the Gobi desert, you can end up on a plateau like this one: perfectly flat 360 degres around you. Sharp green on the ground, pitch dark bleu above you, and like this for 100 km... untill the next plateau.

We wrere lucky on that day, there were a couple of clouds, creating diversity in the nothingness :)

You will experience seeing mirages there, and look incredibly real. You just swear there is mountain, or sometime a lake few km away, and then after 15mns
of driving, you realize there is just nothing except the heat tricking your mind with mirages :)
