This is the concluding late afternoon stage of a 17 kilometre horse race. The horsemen, the dust, the gers (yurts) and the open spaces and sky all come together (without any indicators of the 20th or 21st centuries) to create an archetypal and timeless Mongolian scene.

A picture which perfectly matches with my idea of Mongolia. Huge empty spaces, dust, yurts and horsemen. The dust behind them perfectly gives the idea of their run. Much more than just a landscape !
