Photographer's Note

This shot was taken in the South Govi in Mongolia. In one of the national parks you can do horse rides into a canyon. Beware that the price you negotiate is only for one way, and the haggling starts again when you miles away from where you started.

I love this shot as to me it shows a typical aspect of Mongolian life. Still a lot of people get round on camel or horse back and public buses are very rare.
When I saw the horses waiting behind this sign, it struck me as slightly ironic and had to take the picture.

Apologies for the low quality of the image. Am downloading these in internet cafes. Will re-load them once I get home (even though that is not for another 4 months).
