Photographer's Note
Shot high upon the dunes of the Gobi desert. Located at 180m (fluctuating daily), the view provided is spectacular and beyond description. I had an amazing time climbing the dunes and taking in the long and wonderful sunset.
I wish I could return there again soon for another view of the most beautiful skies.

Hello
Glad someone dares to shoot with very few light and lack of colors. Sweet contrast, nice POV and a light that gives the sand an almost unreal texture. Well done!

I like the clarity you have in this, especially with the closest ridge. I especially like the use of black and white here, it gives it an otherworldly feel to it. I think more contrast would really make this photo sing. (slower shutter speed, perhaps?)
