Photographer's Note

Three Palms Island.
I do not know which is the correct name of this island (3deg51'30"North, 72deg54'55"East), that we explored during an half day boat trip entitled "to Dhiggiri Island". Our maldivian guest called it "Three Palms" as actually there were exactly three palms on it...
I am far from having visited the 1190 (!!!) maldivian islands, but I am quite sure that this (uninhabited) islet could mount the podium of the most paradisiac ones.

As you can see the sand is perfectly white and (as you cannot see from an sRGB picture) the sea and the sky have got tons of magnificent blue and azure tones.

Technical Notes

Before our maldivian vacation, I believed that all technical questions regarding colour spaces (sRGB, AdobeRGB, ProPhoto) were for perfectionist pixel peepers. I was wrong and I hope that you were anyway able to appreciate what I was lucky to see with my own eyes...
