Photographer's Note

One of the "jungelboys" (I like to call them that) came one day and showed us this pair of cameleons fighting. In the heat they (un)fortunately fell down in his lap while he was resting in his hammock. This was in Uncle Tan's wildlifecamp up in Kinebattangan river. Tha most fantastic place, run by Uncle Tan's son Jimmy with strong ideals to keep the variety of animals and flora. The "jungleboys" working there are very skilled, trained and are good humans. They follow you morning until evening on small treks and explain you EVERYTHING!! Amazingly the know every species in latin, english, malay and their mothertounge in the village they're from! The camp itself are very basic to make the least impact on the jungle as possible. There are also limits when it come to amount of people staing there at the same time. It's fun, educational and the food is great. So are the entertainment in the evenings when the "jungleboys" pick out their guitars...

The pic: tiny crop under and some sharpening (very little).
