Photographer's Note
Yo folks, I'm back again, after two weeks of absent and hell lots of work to settle. And finally I do settled em.
Okay, the final post of the Wesak Day Celebration, which, as promised will not have the repetition shot as last year.
Here, I have this floats taking to the street on the nite of Wesak Day. About 20 floats took to the street, but not a single one that really make the impression, except for this one. Cute, huh.
Yeah, the design here, we have three little monks enjoying the view while been ferry from one street to another.
This shot is executed without flash and handheld, while maintaining my stand by the roadside.
Merchanics:
Exposure Program – manual
Speed Value – 1/20s
Aperture Value – f/4.5
Focal Length – 70mm
So, folks, enjoy this cute shot and I will be posting the next image next week.
Cheers to all and good day.

Hi Eric, A fun shot to these three wise men. It must be fun to listen to their lecture. A well taken picture with nicely use of the lights. I was out for the weekend taking some picture in early evening. I have most of them failed because I did not bring my tripod with me. You did a good job to this long exposure handheld picture. Solute to you.

Selamat Petang Eric,
A funny triangle ! I like the impression of joy and happiness I can gather from them, and I appreciate the sharpness of this hand held shot. Just one thing to mention, less compression would reveal even better details, this photo is 95 KB only.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi Eric - the 3 happy smiles add to the colourful festivity, and I like how there is detail in the bg with the maroon sky.

Hi Eric,
The extremely wide range of tones give a good challenge here and you managed to overcome them. I like the triangular layout and the vibrant colours which really give that festive atmosphere. Well done!! Have a nice weekend.

Eric,
You are back to your wizardry again, with a fantastic night shot...
The beauty of the shot is in the light management. Though a simple shot composed on the toys & statues, simply by your smart usage of lighting, a very festive mood is set!...
Thanks,
Prem.

Hi Eric,
This is cute! The smiling monks look so adorable. But what I admire about this image is the clarity you were able to achieve without using a tripod.

Hello Eric,
Nice colors and definition. 1/20s and no tripod... great performance... What do these small puppets represent ? They do have very nice attitudes and smiles.
Best regards. Christian

Very amusing still life, though a slight tocuh of OE on some of the faces. I've just been taught a new technique for dealing with that which I descibe in my shot from Thursday, maybe you know it.

Good composition and control of the light, Eric. I like that fact that we can see a little bit of the twilight in the background, which gives it depth. Good sharpness for a handheld shot at 1/20. The only thing that is lacking is something to give it scale - but I suppose the sunflowers partly do that. Cheers . . . David

Three laughing statues. I like it a lot, Eric! The light is fun here, though the lower left guy may be a bit light. I love the arrangement and how you've fit them into the frame. Nice work!
