Photographer's Note

The esplanade is a waterfront location in the heart of Georgetown, Penang. It covers the field adjacent to fort Cornwallis, known locally as the Padang, and the seaside promenade along the edge of the field. The esplanade was the site of a significant event in Penang's history ; it was here where Captain Francis Light, the founder of Georgetown, first landed on 17 July 1786. The Padang is currently a major venue for celebrations and cultural activities in Penang. Source : wiki

Hello Miguel,
If you had turned slightly more to the right the photo would probably have seemed better balanced. The caressing couple nearest us look nice and they are well dressed for a colour photo, but the are slightly too close to the frame. But generally the light is nice and the early evening colours are pleasant.

Hello Miguel,
A very nice view of the waterfront and the wide water on the left hand side. The people are well included on the right hand side and the large yellow cranes make an interesting backdrop.

A very nice photo, I like the view of port cranes in the distance, they look like dinosaurs, in my opinion the lady in red is a subject for a separate photo
