Photographer's Note

Butterworth lies approximately 3 km east of Georgetown, across Penang strait. As of 2010, it contained a total of 71 463 residents. The city has witnessed massive industrialisation during the later half of the 20th century. In 1974, the port of Penang was relocated in Butterworth. Currently, the Rapid ferry is the main transportation link between Butterworth and Georgetown. The port of Penang handled 1,52 million Teus of cargo as of 2017, making it one of the busiest seaports in Malaysia. In addition, the Butterworth railway station, situated adjacent to the town's ferry terminal, is a major railway station, with train services operated by both the Malaysian railway and the state railway of Thailand. Hello Miguel,
It looks like it was a hazy day, but the red and yellow details of the boats, as well as the warm light on the buildings, still manage to make this quite a bright photo. It could have been cropped into a more panoramic shape but would then probably have got a bit noisy. In this shape it's fine.

Hello Miguel,
A fine view across the wide water towards the town, whose warm colours stand out very well from the bluish haze. Also the large ships are well included.

L'étendue de la mer donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des navires et des immeubles. Le ciel brumeux ne nuit pas au rendu des couleurs. Bonne soirée.

Interesting photo result with this skyline between buildings and ships, good color effect with the red ship, a little fog ... maybe a presentation with the panoramic format would be photogenic with an horizontal effect, tfs.

A distant focal upon the modern buildings across the waterway, Miguel, not an easy take, but fairly well handled.
We get clear view of the few cargo vessels at the port.
