Just a relaxing street view from the old town with some green trees, red roof tops and old shop lots.

Georgetown (Wikipedia)

George Town was founded in 1786 by Captain Francis Light, a trader for the British East India Company, as base for the company in the Malay States.

The town was built on swampy land that had to be cleared of vegetation, levelled and filled. The original commercial town was laid out between Light Street, Beach Street (then running close to the seashore), Malabar Street (subsequently called Chulia Street) and Pitt Street (now called Masjid Kapitan Keling Street).

The warehouses and godowns extended from Beach Street to the sea. By the 1880s, there were ghauts leading from Beach Street to the wharf and jetties as Beach Street receded inland due to land reclamation. A new waterfront was created at Weld Quay, where commercial buildings sprang up.

The historic commercial centre was segmented into the banking and trading areas related to port activities which included shipping companies, the import and export trade, and the wholesalers who dominate the southern section of Beach Street until now. It has been listed as a World Heritage site since July 2008.

Hello Ally,
High point of view, to the advantage of describing what we can not see from the street. We can see the trees that show the presence of small courtyards behind the houses. We also see details of streets and traffic. Excellent light and sharpness coueleur. Bravo.

You're capturing well this place by a good angle and excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see exotic street scene. A red roof stands out and it is impressive. Although it is an old building group, it is saved well in this corner, tastes and is deep.

There are loads of interests to explore in this historic old town feel in a pretty calm atmosphere. A strong composition, excellent high vantage point bringing out the typical colors and architecture in the best possible way and you have captured that impression so well. Light and shade managed very well so full of character and charm in wonderful rich colors. Particularly Iove the diagonals and specks of vivid colors as they influence the senses greatly. This is a fine townscape shot. Well done.

and you're so right, these birds eye views are great, never a boring moment from up top here.
there is a little bit of everything, and i notice that so many of the cars are very tiny.
