Photographer's Note

In Malaysia covered wet markets have a more or less strict order, where you can find vegetables, meat, poultry, seafood, household stuff, dresses, food courts etc. Street markets however are very different. In my previous uploads from the street market in the heart of Georgetown you saw stalls along the roadside, but what makes a street market so popular is the integration of regular shops and the mobile shop like this dry provision merchant which has set up his stall right at the entrance to a clothes shop. It's a win-win situation for both, the shopper is attracted by the spices but at the same time may shop for clothes.
