Photographer's Note
Sungai Tahan or Tahan River is a tributary that flows through Taman Negara, a 130 millions years old rainforest in the state of Pahang, West Malaysia.
One of the entry points to the Taman Negara or National Park is Kuala Tahan, which is a confluence, where Sungai Tahan meets Sungai Tembeling. Sungai Tembeling becomes Sungai Pahang as it meanders closer to the coast.
A mid-river view of Sungai Tahan as the long boat rides up river through the National Park, about 5 minutes boat ride from the Kuala Tahan.
