Photographer's Note

The twin towers of Kuala Lumpur during the blue hours. We had a 7 hours stop in Kuala Lumpur when flying back to France, quite enough time to get a taxi and visit few places in the capital city located 45 minutes from the International KL airport.

I took this from the nice park located at the feet of the towers. It is very pleasant to see the families gathering there at sunset. There is also a big mall is at the base of the building, not really interesting...

The towers in themselves are quite impressive with their metallic structure and the nice lightspot; they look like a space shuttle at this time of the day.

The building is also called Petronas after the National Oil company and it is made of 88 floors, reaching 482m high. I believe there is also an Opera and a museum inside. I was really impressed by how modern the city looked like. I felt like in a small New York.

It was not easy to capture the full towers when so close. I had to walk around and around to find a nice place. I guess I failed to include some reflections from the pools as I expected.
