Photographer's Note

Gawai Festival at Kampung Sadir. June 1 also happened on Sunday morning and at 7.43am on our way to church, the road climbed uphill which is quite a height (I saw an elderly gentleman clutching his walking stick and reached the church gasping for air).

At this point, the guard house and cross bar to the local school. What a morning view of misty clouds around the mountains. Can you imagine children attending school in such a beautiful natural scenery?

The Bidayuh itself is buried under the misty clouds and dense forest cover. No harmful effect to the environment, and that is how Bidayuh people live. For this capture, our group members Evelyn and Jong were seen discussing about the camera setting. Thank you for viewing. Cheers, bill
