Photographer's Note

Ever been to Sabah? ever visit Kudat Town? ever went to the 'tip of Borneo'? Well, for the dwellers of Sabah, Tanjung Simpang Mangayau is a no more than a must-to-go travel destination. This includes travelers too. im here not to talk about how to reach this place. just search 'Kudat' in your search engine and you will find bundles of information piled high in the net. however, im actually interested in talking about this picture...

Not many people ever seen this scene before... even though if they have been to Simpang Mangayau themseleves. i believe those who see this picture (ones who ever went to this place) will surelly say... "does this place exist there?" because all they see or have seen is the big round landmark and the cliffs (and maybe the bay)... but not this one.

this scene is found only if you really survey this place. take your time, be curious to know what is on the other side of something that is usual. if you know how to patiently find a shooting spot, you will find it.

There's actually a small track that leads to the right side of the landmark. its grown with knee-tall bushes, but if you really want to see something... you will find it. the golden word for it is...*explore*.. during low tides, you can find that there is a hole(or more accurately a cave) dug by... the natural diggers... the sea...

about this photo... i did B&W conversion and did some minor PP before uploading... did i overdone it? hurm....
