Photographer's Note

The morning was quiet that day. Most of the farmers had returned home from their padi fields and plantations, and probably by now, sitting by their verandas fanning themselves from the incoming heat of the day.

The padi field was empty but brimming with the early green of the wet padis and waiting with anticipation for its ears which would be waltzing in the breeze by late October. While on the hillsides, rubber trees are bleeding latex on a daily basis, earning for the farmers while waiting for the padi harvesting season.

The great thing about the farmed rural countryside, just about everything is candy to the eyes and soul, and the air is peaceful and kind.
