‘Labuan - Maybe not your dream beach you can find in the brochures’

The west coast of Labuan Island has many beaches and isn’t exactly crowded.

Since the island is quite small, you get everywhere pretty quickly.
There are public buses that leave all from the main town, Bandar Labuan. But you can also move around easily and cheaply with Grab (the Asian counterpart of Uber).

I was actually looking for a picturesque deserted beach. There are many deserted beaches on Labuan but I didn't find them too beautiful. At least not really heavenly. Possibly I’m a bit too hard in my judgment of paradise beaches …

Then this scene caught my eye. A simple scene of a beach visited by locals, a worn flag and a changing room or a toilet that has seen better days.
Not immediately representative of the island. But I gladly took this photo.

Too much saturation of this picture?

In the WS two other pictures of the same coast taken a bit further.
