Photographer's Note

A hard days work in a flooded rice field is every day life in Ban Pak Sak 'Tai Dam' village. They give the country food and are very attractive to look because of the beautiful green, shapes and the people working the green shoots of the growing rice. The work does not look pleasant as you have to be wet all day with your feet and hands in the muddy water but the people I met were always charming and gave me a smile or a wave. This was taken on a cool slight misty morning about six km out of town.

Seeing their way of life leaves me speechless - the only time we'd roll up our trousers and get dirty is to capture an image!
