Photographer's Note

From sunrise to sunset there is a large wet market at the northern end of Vang Vieng, right opposite to the regional bus terminal. Not only the locals but also the hill tribes from the surrounding mountain villages meet here daily to sell and buy. There are plenty of veggies, also some fruits, but not a lot of meat nor poultry. From time to time there are some river fishes. The market traders often are there with their entire family and childern as seen in the photograph above are excepted to help selling at least
