Selling in style....

I was so impressed when I spotted this opportunity, by how stylish this Tai Dam market seller was when the morning light had brought out the very best of her colourful outfit. She looked like a character to me, coming straight out of a catwalk or some other cool scenario perhaps and for sure had brightened up the scene. I am sure you would agree with me that, shooting someone's back is not ethical or polite to some old school conservative photographers, but I thought rules are made to be broken sometimes....

Taken at Muang Sing tribal market in a remote Northern Laos only about 10km away from the Chinese border. A great place to observe & photo shoot when many hill tribes women would congregate to trade. It's a nexus for all the local montagnards and this is where the Tai Dam women, one of the hill tribes, would dazzle you with this visual feast.
