Photographer's Note

The life of the pushcart hawkers is not easy at all in Vientiane. Latest at sunrise they are on their way from market to market, from office complex to housings, always on foot with their goods, mostly fruits or veggies. These two women will have to go on, even after sunset, as they could not sell their fruits. It is a hard life on the roads of the capital to earn a living. Ultimately fruits are a luxury for most Laos people as their income is very low.
