Photographer's Note

On a rainy day at the end of the rainy season I was walking around the beautyful town of Luang Prabang, which is nowadays picked as a UNESCO world heritage site. Lots of monasteries and amazing temples are located here. You can still see much of a traditional buddhist life when going around with open eyes.

My feet led me to the end of the peninsula, where the Nam Khan river joins the Mekong river. There I saw these novices standing at the landing point and waiting for their friends, who had some difficulties to move their boat against the current.
