Saw these trainers hanging out to dry in Luang Prabang. Perhaps a strange thing to photograph, but I thought the shadows and shapes quite interesting and amusing.

Good catch! I really wonder why I am the first person here to critiquing this wonderful and unordinary shot!
The shadows on the right hand side may disturb a bit...
However, I'd be glad to see more shots of this kind! :)

Brian,

very well taken shot.

Simple element well centered.
Shadows are prominent.
I really liked shadow of flowers.

To make shadow bit darker may fill the image more bit. (Just my opinion)
