Photographer's Note

Near the confluence of the Nam Khan River and Mekong River in Luang Prabang, a bamboo bridge crosses the Nam Khan.

Built entirely of bamboo the rickety looking but sturdy bridge is used by the locals for their daily usage. However, during the wet season, the river current washes away the bridge and it has to be rebuilt every season.

Man in green with conical hat crosses as I was admiring the bridge structure.
