Photographer's Note

I was lucky to be in Aomori at the peak of the cherry blossoms blooming season. Like snow fall everywhere. Wonderful. If you visit Japan there is a wide period for the blossoms to show - as South Japan seasons differ from North - thus as you head north each major city has itís week or more of independent bloomings. In this photo Hirosaki Castle hides behind the blossems and provides the uniquely Japanese way in nature in a blend of roof slopes and tree branches. There are many many trees within the park surrounding the castle. Small bridges, water ponds, and quiet seating places abound in the park. The Japanese understand beauty. Thanks for viewing; drt100 David
