Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken from the observatory of Ōnaruto Bridge built over the Naruto strait. The island with the white light-tower which is visible to a photograph is an uninhabited island called the "Tobishima" in the east of the Naruto strait. The circumference of an island was famous as a difficult part of the sea from ancient times since the tide current flew violently to because of the strait. The Naruto Tobishima light-tower is installed in April, 1983. Seemingly, it will progress for the purpose of this, when passing the Naruto strait passage from Kii Channel. The small fishing boat was in operation near the island. Seemingly, in this ocean of this season, fish such as Jack mackerel, sardine, Olive flounder and Sparidae can be fished.
