Photographer's Note

This is the place which left the air of the downtown area by the rows of houses in which office, restaurants, and dwelling are intermingled, though it is the central part of Tokyo. There are many one-way roads where a street is narrow. There are also many theaters and it has developed as a popular town at the Edo period. The name("Ningyōchō") of a town originates in what many puppet masters were present in this neighborhood a long time ago. There is no skyscraper in the circumference and it is similar with Asakusa as an atmosphere. A store also has many long-established stores. This photograph is taken the spectacle of the narrow alley which leads as the main. The receptacle of the business tool was easily put on the both sides of an alley, and the person besides in character with the cook of a restaurant was talking on them with the mobile phone.
