Once again the L glass lens has produced terrific clarity. Nicely composed with beautiful detail. I assume these guys are in the wild?

Excellent shot, Dan! It looks like one of two things is happening here:

1) He is thumbing his nose at you
2) He is melodramatic and performing his rendition of Hamlet's soliloquy.

I love this series!!
Call me silly if you want, but I feel closer to these snow monkeys right now, than from my brothers and sisters human beings! ;)
Seriously, what is especially good with this one is the moment you achieve to capture. Just perfect. The left hand extended, the right laying on the rock (or something), and the look toward 'the sky'! Quite a philosophical monkey, you found!
I wonder what was your focal length. I see that you used the 24-70mm, meaning that you were quite close.
Very, very difficult NOT to like such a photo! Since I'm a lazy one, I will simply like it without second thoughts!
But, quite frankly, I don't like your frame! ;) But the picture... Yes!
