Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken in the Seto Ohashi park in Kagawa Prefecture in autumn three years ago. Exactly, the teacher of the kindergarten led students and was coming for extracurricular study to this place. The boys were wearing the white hat and girl were wearing red hat. I was gazing at the situation to the detour. It seemed that the teacher pointed at the finger and was explaining the bridge to them. There were some children who are hearing the teacher's talk, and there were children who is moving about without settling down. Probably, they are students of these suburbs.

Seto Ohashi is a general term for the bridge of 10 which connects Shikoku (Sakaide-shi, Kagawa) to Honshu (Kurashiki-shi, Okayama) ranging over Seto Inland Sea.
Full length is 12,300m and is a structure of 2 stories which Seto Chuo Expressway of four lanes runs to the upper part and along which JR Seto Ohashi Line passes in the lower part. The beginning of mission was carried out nine years and six months after on April 10, 1988 from the groundbreaking in 1978.
