Photographer's Note

This picture was taken in the city of Huis ten Bosch. This is an entire dutch city built in Japan, Nagasaki prefecture. You could say that this is a brand new medieval city. What is interesting about this place is that it was built entirely in a dutch manner, dutch architecture. Also, every brick and every building material was brought from Netherlands. Even the manpower that helped build this place was brought from Netherlands. It is a very beautiful place, but too new for my taste :). I guess the only thing that's lacking is the effect that time has on medieval cities. The aging brought by time is missing.
But I like to think that this is how the cities looked in medieval Netherlands before time put its mark on them. Hope you enjoy it. Other pictures will follow.
