This is the 1st photo about the wild deers in Nara.
And if this scene seems like very quiet and not so dynamic you have to look to WS photo.

this is a stunning, unexpected sight. At first I wondered if the deer is real and, after looking at the poster in the workshop, I keep wondering what's on her mind:) I was not familiar with the presence of deer in a purely urban environment, so the contrast between an animal I considered "wild" and the setting in the background is still striking. Your timing for this expressive, full portrait was great. Congratulations and thank you!

Hello Serghei,
The deer I saw in Nara (and also in Miyajima) behaved not really wild but they certainly dared to take the food of tourists without hesitation.
I wouldn't trust this security guard. When the opportunity arises, he will steal snacks from the store.
It was quite a special experience to see so many deer between the people.

The deer looks rather bemused at all the attention he is receiving though the poster would seem to indicate they are well used to human encounters:-) A daily life image that is both interesting and amusing and sums up the unexpected benefits of foreign travel. Excellent technical realisation.

Je cris qu'ils deviennent de moins en mins sauvages à force de se faire nourrir par les passants et les touristes. Il garde quand même un petit côté hirsute , Il semble bien curieux.

This is a very original photo, very surprising to me. I am not used to seeing wild deers in shopping centre. I think it has happened in Stockholm, but it is quite a sensation and will be mentioned in the newspapers. In Nara people seem very used to it. Rather funny. It's an amusing shot and you were lucky not to be attacked. Funny WS.

Hey bud,

How are you, my friend? I can't help but laugh at this picture, I love the humor and cultural aspect of this shot...definitely not something you would ever see around Arizona, yeah? lol

An unexpected surprise and a great way to learn about a different, and from my perspective, an unusual "visitor" to the streets. :) It looks like there are plenty of products for him to choose from, but I wonder what deer prefer the most...perhaps the ice cream treat? :) Hope all is going well. Take it easy.

I don't know or this is real or not real, but when this deer is real you was great photographer and not afraid of animals.
A very well composition, perfect presentation too.

This deer is cute, but we can see from the WS that he might attack! It seems like he really is guarding the store, and he won't let anyone inside unless he feels like it. :-) Nice daily life shot from Nara. I like the view of the shop behind the deer, and, of course, we can also see Hello Kitty. :-)

The workshop photo tells all about the dangers of this cute, peaceful looking creature. I'd say, "Run before it decides to bite, butt, kick you or knock you down!"
