I like the technical quality of this picture. The exposure, colors and sharpnes are excellent. By the way- the bird is very beautiful too.. Well done !

Ooooh, another bird lover! Just the other day I was attempting to capture chestnut-sided chickadees with 'the anvil' (Canon Powershot), but those little guys are always on the move. I'm going to try again with the Minolta (manual camera), a tripod, and lots of patience! Believe me, I know how long you have to wait sometimes to get a good shot of a moving critter. I also appreciate your DOF in this image. Well done!
