Photographer's Note

This was my very first picture with my new DC. I bought it in Akihabara which is Tokyo's electronic town.

What you see here is a part of Akihabara which was under construction.

I bought it at a electronics shop and the salesman didn't speak any English (except for the word: passport) and I only a couple of words Japanese. He was very patient with me and I pointed out what I wanted. After handing him my passport I got a discount, a free 128mb memory card, canon batteries and a canon charger!

I opened the box in the middle of the street and start making picture right away. The camera still works and is being used by my brother.

The great thing about that place is that you can use and try everything before you buy and they have everything in stock! Not so here in Holland.
