Photographer's Note

This photograph is Ueno Park in Tokyo. I visited this park on the day when the light rain fell a long time. It was also one of the purposes to check that many sea gulls are coming to Shinobazu Pond in one corner of a park like an ordinary year. Since it was a chilly day, there were few visitors. I was walking along the surrounding promenade of a pond slowly. I saw that one Egret was mixed with many sea gulls on the bank of the pond. It was aiming the small fish in a pond with the sharp eye and the long beak. The lookout platform improved these days is located in one corner of a promenade. This photograph is taken from that place. One sea gull was resting on the handrail to which waterdrop was attached. The tree which still left the leaf of autumnal tints stood on the opposite side of a pond with luxuriant. The tower in Tokyo Skytree covered with thick clouds could be seen in the long distance direction of Asakusa. I was here for about 1 hour, and left for home.
