Photographer's Note
At the Meiji-Jingu Shrine in Harajuku, there is a round wall where visitors can write messages of hope, wishes, and thoughts upon wooden plaques and hang them on the wall. If anyone knows more about this process please let me know as I did not get to spend too much time there.
Many messages were in English and some were quite emotional. Wishing loved ones to come home safely from Iraq or elsewhere, hoping to mend broken relationships, or something they should have said to a loved one years ago.........
