Photographer's Note

Shichi-go-san Festival (literal translation: Seven-five to three)
One of those festivals that honor children aged 3, 5 and 7 years (the odd numbers bring good luck in Japan) This birthday party is taking place on November 15 or the weekend closest to that date. That day, the families, the boys celebrate their anniversary on 3 and 5 years; and that of their daughters 3 and 7 years, leading their children Shinto shrine, dressed in sumptuous traditional clothing.
On my pic this little girl is wearing her hair in a bun decorated with combs and flowers, fly the most beautiful kimono and HIFU (jacket).
