Photographer's Note
Had some busy times lately so this is my first “photo posting” since last year; almost 15 months ago. Anyway last year we visited Tokyo and had our holiday planned so we had a change to go to Yosakoi and The Asakusa Samba Festival. This shot was taken at the Asakusa Samba Festival. It was a rainy day but during the parade it was sunny. It still amazes me to see the Samba Festival in Tokyo. If you can please combine your holiday with this Festival.
Be on time before the “show” starts, we had a piece of the street confiscated for more then 1,5 hour. Maybe there are better spots then ours, it was almost at the end of the parade so sometimes they were exhausted. Next time we will sit at the beginning of the parade.

Hi Hans.
The tilt composition and the use of the 85mm are the keys of this photo.
The timming and vivid scene are also good.
Regards.

Dag Hans,
een onverwachte samba foto uit Japan...
Levendig en spontaan weergegeven met het schuine perspectief, en een fantastische kleurenwolk.
groetjes,
Paul
