Photographer's Note

This day, I went to Yoyogi park.
I encountered in the plaza at the south gate of Meiji Shrine though the festival was held. A illustration of the Nebuta festival was decorated at courtyard of south gate, and the shamisen(literally "Musical instruments with three flavor strings"), and the dance were done in the hypothesis stage. I returned to this place after several hour rest had been taken in Yoyogi park. The people who put on a happi coat gathered this time, and several portable shrines were put on the courtyard. It seems to be a grand festival of autumn of Meiji Jingu that enshrines and celebrates 90 years. After a while, child's portable shrine, a medium portable shrine(for woman), and big portable shrine were shouldered by people who participate in festival and they began to move in the approach to a shrine.

This festival is named "Tennousai", and shakes the epidemic that goes around in summer as well as Gion Matsuri of Kyoto as the purified city type. It dyes to one brave, magnificent festival color in brave portable shrine pretense.
