Photographer's Note

I came near to stretching my legs Tomioka Hachimangu is held the Fukagawa Hachiman festival's there and taking Tozai Line even in Monzennakacho yesterday. A festival here is counted with Sannō of Hie Shrine in Akasaka and the Kanda festival of Kanda Myojin by one of the "Edo three major festival". Because this year was not once every three years for great Mikoshi, this spectacle was not able to be seen. Still, a lot of night stalls lined up in the approach to a shrine, and the woman of the yukata was able to be seeing. It was the atmosphere that a summer festival of Tokyo downtown had been put out. This photograph is a photograph in the better fortune promotion in the Shinto shrine precincts. When people wish the promotion, well-being of the family, the business prosperity, and the charm, etc., it seems to pray. The red apron hung down in fox's neck and red flagpole afterwards was impressive. Folk beliefs of which it used of the god the fox started in the Middle Ages.
