Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken in Kyu-Furukawa Gardens near my house. In this garden, there are a Western style garden and a Japanese landscape garden. In a western style garden, a rose festival will be held twice in spring and autumn, and many kinds of roses can be appreciated. Although I visited several times in here, there are various kinds of roses, and I am surprised at abundant shapes and colors of rose. A rose is a very artificial flower which repeats mating and to which a new species is born. And, as for each kind, it is also interesting that scents differ and the original name is attached. Many visitors come at the time of a rose festival, the lady of a kimono figure is seen occasionally. Although the combination the western rose and kimono are strange somehow, they match well with it being unexpected.
