Photographer's Note

The children get the make-up at the temporary hair-salon under the tent. He already finished his make-up and he was much interst his elder sisiter's situation.
She was very nervous for the first time make-up, and he was already third times this year so very relaxed. The condition is reverse for thier age.

Children are always a nice subject for make a portrait.
Both little children are nice portraited, the smile of the boy is perfect.

the strong contrast between the two children's expressions is what makes this photo "pop", if you know what I mean :)
the opposite moods (nervousness on her side, cheerfulness on his) come across very well and create a tension, a visual dialogue between the two children that I like very much.
