The red gate which it is said to when Japanese well-known novelist Kaizan Nakazato was proud when "this gate is equal to a red gate of The University of Tokyo."
He left a full-length novel of "Daibosatsu-touge", and the novel became a movie.
I take a look at neither a novel nor a movie.

Nice pictures. Good colour, even if it is only one :-)
Maybe it would have been good if you had captured the whole gate and perhaps a little bit of the side walls to give it a little contrast in the colour.
