Sakura Opening #8, a photo from Tokyo, Kanto

Photographer's Note

This is the continuation from previous one(@Imperial palace). The palace is surrounded by a moat, and we can enjoy the boat in moat while watching SAKURA. At the peak time, the que for boading boat is so long, we have to wait a several hours. I took this shot in the early morning.

Well seen and nicely cropped. I can see that Sakura has special importance in Japanese culture -- something like the start of spring, right?

nice the view of the blossom tree as cover the upper part of the photo, with the blue boats underneath the canal to contrast perfect with the white of the flowers.I like the vertical format as the light and colour management.

It looks beautiful - a quiet haven for small boats on a calm river covered with fantastic cherry blossom canopy. Cherry blossoms are wonderful. Very good colors and superb sharpness.

Hello Takero,
Another fine composition of few details and pleasantly mild colours. The water and the boats use about one third of the composition, giving strong emphasis on the blossoming trees. A very beautiful photo to watch.

This is just awesome...great shot ...the blue boats are looking very symmetrical on the water & beautiful tree leaning towards water is making a great composition
