Photographer's Note
This is the Tokyo station building, that is just re-opened on 1st Oct for 5 years big renovation / reconstraction. Before the world warⅡ, previous building was like this but unfortunatelly was fired out by bomb attack during WWⅡ. After 5 years work, previous appearance has just recovered. Between the modern skyscrepaers the historical figure is very solemn and dominant.

Yes this shot is quite different from my usual postings, not portrait nor festival.

Hello dear Takero,
I like very much this superbly sharp and well lit night shot and the magnificent architecture of the renovated station. I'd love to see the whole facade and maybe the street or square in front of it too. The two skyscapers behind it are very sharp as well and provide great contrast. I love the lit windows and the evening colours, especially the dome that is so eye catching. Well done and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely day,
Ourania

Hi Takero,
Wow, that is an impressive capture! I love architechture, and it is so brilliant to see contrasting styles, you have presented this perfectly. The buildings in the background looks futuristic and almost like something from a comic book, and the purple light is another unusual and attractive element. Great POV and angle and rich colours, thanks indeed for sharing!
All the best from Ireland

How are you my friend?
This picture is amazing to me because I see in Tokyo a building that could as well have been built here in my country...
Il like this photo and both the beautiful new & ancient styles...
Best regards from autumnal Belgium,

This is a little unusual for you to be posting night shots isn't it but brilliantly done, very sharp, perfect exposure time and wonderful architecture.

A rare architectural shot from you, Takero, and a very effective one! The light in this shot glows beautifully - the dome, of course, but also the light from the building's windows adds a nice element. Beautifully managed to keep the skyscrapers well exposed despite the high contrast in the image.

Hi Takero,
ice contrast architecture between these buildings and beautiful light and colors, maybe a little tilt, difficult with the wide angle ...

Hello Takero
Well balanced image and the contrasting architecture makes an interesting composition. So sharp and the wide angle is effective.

Hello Takero, it is nice to see other pictures apart from your usual style and work.
This is a beautiful building of the renovated station in Tokyo with great details and highlights.
Perfect choice to use this time of the day and take aadvantage of the soft light!
